Walton and Hipkiss Kidderminster Office – have adopted Kemp Hospice as their charity.
KEMP Hospice provides a major support system for the local community and our primary goal is to provide palliative care and support, adding to the quality of life for our patients and their carers.
Since 1969 KEMP has been providing support for the people of the Wyre Forest and surrounding areas, concentrating on holistic palliative care for local people as they come to the end of life. We provide a wide range of services not just for our patients but their loved ones and carers too, through their journey and beyond thanks to our extensive bereavement support team. Thanks to the generous support of local people we are able to provide support through our Day Hospice, Hospice at Home, a wide range of therapies including Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Creative and complimentary therapies, pre and post bereavement support including a specialist team for children and young people, along with information, advice and guidance at what is probably the most difficult period of their lives. KEMP’s vision is to ensure access, quality and choice for everyone dealing with end of life situations in the Wyre Forest and surrounds and, with your help, we will achieve our vision.
And up and coming events:
Light up a Life 2016, 10th December 2016
Light up a Life as an annual campaign in which you can remember loved ones in a very special way during the festive season.
As Christmas draws nearer, our thoughts turn to those no longer with us and you can make memories shine this Christmas by dedicating a light on one of our trees. Every light that shines will be a heartfelt tribute to those missed but definitely not forgotten. We are inviting everyone in the Wyre Forest to Light up a Life and the campaign is not just for people whose loved ones have received care from KEMP.
As part of the campaign you can write a message or special memory to a loved one on a Light up a Life Tag and hang this on one of our Light up a Life Christmas Trees. Every donation will be acknowledged with a personal Light up a Life Card, with the names of your loved ones inside for you to have at home this Christmas. The names of all those being remembered will be recorded in our Book of Memories and this book will be able to view at the hospice during 2017.
From the beginning of November 2016 you will be able to make your dedication at the following Light up a Life Christmas Trees:
